The mission of the Kaimana is to combine Hypr ultra-performance with comfortable stability and smooth glide. The relaxed diamond tail combines the low drag of a pintail with the control of a square tail, and gives superlative maneuverability. At 150 litres the Kaimana is comfortable for larger experienced surfers or as a do-it-all board for light paddlers.

The excitement begins when you start to plane, and this board paddles into waves beautifully, thanks to the tracking and control provided by the unique concaves. The slim rails and sharp edges make super-tight turns simple, and when you shift your weight to the centre of the board after a screaming bottom turn, you feel instant acceleration down the line as the concaves lift the board and shoot you forwards.
